“Oblique Transmutations explore notions of queering, togetherness and support structures. Using voice and movement, the performers work with a score as they negotiate space, one another and shared costumes. Perpetually staying in the becoming, they continue to transform. As they assemble and reassemble their interweaving and interlocking material, they appear and disappear into the darkness of the stage. The work questions binary structures, opening a space for new subjectivities to emerge, come together and appear in-between.” – Heidi Rustgaard
